Double trip to Drogheda first weekend in March

UCD AFC Supporters are travelling twice over the same weekend to Drogheda United.

The third match of the league season and The Students are on the road again after winning the first home game last friday against Cobh Ramblers.  This trip is a popular trip among UCD fans who can count Uited Park as the first ground outside of Dublin they visited.

Drogheda are one of the favourites for promotion and UCD will be looking to show they are right up there with the contenders.

UCD reached the quarter finalists last year going down to eventual winners and subsequent League winners Dundalk FC at Oriel Park in the #EternalFixture.  Again both sides will be looking to compound a good start to the season with a strong League Cup run.  It'll be another enjoyable trip and all UCD Fans are welcome to travel on the private bus to both games.

Travel Details: Our private bus will depart UCD Sports Centre at approx. 18:00 (Friday may have a City Centre collection).  We will depart United Park immediately after the game and return to South Dublin arriving approxiamately 23:00.

Cobh Ramblers have always been welcoming to UCD Fans.  St Colmans Park has a comfortable Lounge Clubhouse, covered seating on two sides.  With the early kick-off times of 19

:15 this suits rail travel between Cork (Kent) Station and Cobh.
