Ex-UCD players to meet in FA Cup

FA Cup 4th round,  Saturday 25th January, Spotland, k.o 15:00

Two popular Midfielders, formerly of Belfield,, will face each other in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup on Saturda 25th January, 15:00  Gary joined Rochdale in September, after been with Gus Poyet’s Brighton & Hove Albion for three years and Jim Gannen’s Stockport County before that.  Gannon had signed Dicker in 2007.  He played in the 2nd round against Roteram United and wasd on te bench for Dale’s famous two-nil victory over Leeds Utd. earlier this month.  Rochdale AFC ave never progressed past the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Paul Corry left many UCD Fans in tears when he joined Sheffield Wednesday in summer of 2012.  One of his last acts as a UCD AFC player was to score a screamer against  Shelbourne FC at Tolka Park.  Paul joined Tranmere Rovers on loan but has now returned to Hillsborough and was on the bench for the third round replay 4- win over Macclesfield Town FC.
